In 2019, Loomis, an industry leader in cash-in-transit and armored transportation services, entered into a relationship with Xos to deploy an EV pilot program beginning with two 100% battery-electric armored vehicles. As of December 2022 the Xos and Loomis relationship has expanded to 22 Xos vehicles along with the utilization of Xos Energy Solutions™ for installation of charging infrastructure among two locations currently, with more planned for mobilization.
Loomis also utilizes the full Xos ecosystem including battery-electric vehicles, Xos Energy Solutions™, and Xosphere™ fleet management software to effectively monitor and maintain their Xos vehicles.

In early 2022, Xos delivered to UniFirst their first three all-electric delivery vehicles for use at one of their California plants, with plans to expand to other company locations in the future. Upon delivery, Xos Energy Solutions™ also installed three DC fast chargers to power the UniFirst fleet.
UniFirst, a North American leader in the supply and servicing of uniform and workwear programs, is another customer taking full advantage of the full Xos ecosystem of offerings including vehicles, energy solutions, and fleet management.

Parcel Delivery Operators
Last-mile parcel delivery operators, such as express mail delivery services and retailers that ship directly to customers, make up a large portion of Xos customers. Xos vehicles have been on the road with last-mile delivery operators since 2022 and can be found across North America, including Canada.

In 2021, Xos announced that it would be partnering with Merchants Fleet and delivering battery-electric vehicles to help Merchants Fleet meet their sustainability goal of having 50% of their mobility fleet electric by 2025 and 50% of their clients’ fleet electric by 2030. Since the announcement, Xos has delivered over 120 100% battery-electric stepvans to Merchants Fleet.
